Make a noise about bullying

Did you know that 30% of children have been bullied in the last year, with 17% being bullied online. Bullying can have a significant impact on a child’s life, which can continue into adulthood. Anti-Bullying Week runs from Monday 13th to Friday 17th of November and is organised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance. Our Colleague, Nicola Martin, found out more it.

Anti Bullying Week starts off on Monday 13th November with odd socks day. This is to celebrate being unique, and that it’s okay to be different.

The theme for the rest of the week is make a noise about bullying. This has been organised by the Anti-Bullying Alliance. You can find out more about the Anti-Bullying Alliance and how to get involved in marking this week here.

I think it is important that we begin putting an end to the way people treat each other not just in schools but at work, at home, and during leisure activities.

If we could have any pictures from odd socks day to post on our social media and other platforms it would be much appreciated, just email them to talkback@talkback-uk.com

Let’s make a noise about bullying and help put an end to it.

Nicola Martin.
