Learning Disability Week this year will take place on 15th – 21st June. It is has been a difficult time during this pandemic for everyone. Many people with Learning Disabilities have not been able to have usual freedoms in life that we all enjoy. We have not been able to meet with friends or family, we have not been able to attend social community groups, we have had to follow restrictions to protect ourselves and those we love. We have felt the sadness of isolation, however no one should feel alone.
Learning Disability Week is very special this year. We want to use it as a time for everyone to connect online even if we cannot in person. We want to bring our community together.
During Learning Disability Week 2020, we will be sharing stories online about what you and your friends have been getting up to during lockdown.
Below are some ways that you can get involved and show your support.
