The Bucks Heroes project is about celebrating ordinary people who are doing extraordinary things; making them everyday heroes, who have contributed to the history of Bucks. Funded by the National Lottery Heritage Fund, this project is working with the local community to showcase local heroes through exciting and unusual activities in the new Discover Bucks People gallery.
The Expressive Arts Group, part of our Personal Development & Skills programme, has shared their self-portrait art through photography, clay, printmaking, and drawing. This creative process has helped our members to grow in confidence and we can’t wait for them to visit the museum and see their creations on display. We couldn’t be prouder of them!
Their exhibition will be on display from 27th March – 12th May at the Bucks Discovery Museum, Church Street Aylesbury.
