Celebrating the launch of the Umbrella Project

Thank you so much to everyone who popped along to the launch of the Milton Keynes Umbrella Project on Saturday 15th March at Midsummer Place Shopping centre.

This celebration of neurodiversity aims to foster a more inclusive community in Milton Keynes. It was wonderful to be part of this event and to see the brightly coloured umbrellas suspended above us, creating the largest installation the shopping centre has ever ever seen.

We are extremely proud to have been a sponsor of this event and to be able to help spread the message of the importance of inclusivity. We’d like to say a special thank you to Karen and Jasmine, who ran the stall with us on the day.

What is the Umbrella Prject

The Umbrella Project, originally conceived by the ADHD Foundation, has been displayed in various locations across the UK since 2019. This celebration of neurodiversity aims to foster a more inclusive community in Milton Keynes, and we are extremely proud to be a part of this.

This initiative, in Milton Keynes, has been co-ordinated by Jane Lambert of ECG Training and Makewell Clinic, to celebrate the intelligence, ability, and talent of neurodiverse individuals in the city. Pop along and  see for yourself the wonderful 400 strong umbrella display brightening up the shopping centre.
