The five star service audit assessed Talkback’s Aylesbury facility and the Personal Development Skills Programme. As well as our organisation-wide governance and compliance. It covered a wide range of criteria. This included; Involvement and Information, Personalised Care and Support, Safeguarding and Safety. It also looked at Recruitment and Development of Staff, and Quality of Management.
This rating from Buckinghamshire Council, is a testament to the dedication of Talkback staff, our Central Support Team and management. Because they always go the extra mile to create a caring and supportive environment. It also recognises the determination of our members, who are encouraged to overcome their difficulties.

Talkback CEO, Jeremy Hay was delighted with the five star rating, he commented: “Over the last four years we have invested a lot in putting in place best practice in all our sessions and ways of operating. This has been through better training, as well as instilling our values of Never Assume, Always Listen and Forever Explore, into all that we do. For me, this audit result is a great recognition of why I believe we are probably the leading organisation in the areas in which we work.”

We provide autism and learning disability support and service programmes, in Bucks and the surrounding areas. Our passion is to enable constant personal growth for our members, who range from 16 years old through to pensioners.

This enables greater independence and allows our members to embrace new opportunities, no matter what their age. Our programmes cover Personal Development, Employability, Sports, Creativity, and much more.
