Our summer programme runs until 23rd August and aims to help young people make the transition from school to college.
The six-week gap between leaving school and continuing in education can seem daunting and result in anxiety when it comes to starting a different educational setting in September. By taking part in our programme, we find the young people handle the anxiety of change better and meet some new friends.
When they attend our summer programme they get to undertake a variety of different activities. These activities range from woodwork in The Accessible Workshop, cooking, drama, music, sports and games.
Here are some lovely photos of our summer programme members taking part in a cookery session and completing projects at The Accessible Workshop.
We would like to say a big thank you to Heart of Bucks and their Young Futures Fund for making this programme possible.
