Funding awarded to help us raise awareness of cybercrime

We are honoured to have been selected to receive funding from The Thames Valley Police Community Fund.

Yasmin Ahmed, our Head of Operations, was delighted to receive this award for £5,000. It was presented by Chief Constable, John Campbell and Police and Crime Commissioner for Thames Valley, Matthew Barber.

This funding will be used to create a Talkback project for our members. Which will raise awareness of cybercrime and scams.

The Community Fund provides biannual funding to voluntary and community groups. This helps to achieve the objectives of the PCC’s Police and Criminal Justice Plan. The money for the scheme comes from the sale of items seized and recovered from criminals under the Proceeds of Crime Act (POCA).  It is jointly managed by the PCC and Chief Constable.
