Disabled Children Register renamed BAND

Buckinghamshire Additional Needs Database (BAND) is the new name for the voluntary register of disabled children and young people (aged 0 to 19).

Buckinghamshire Additional Needs Database (BAND) is the new name for the voluntary register of disabled children and young people (aged 0 to 19). It was previously called PinPoint.

The purpose of BAND is to build a picture of need across the county. This will help the Buckinghamshire Family Information Service plan and improve local support and services for children and young people with SEND and their families.

By joining the register, parents, carers and young people are able to request a Max Card. This is a leading discount card, which can be used at venues across the UK to get free or discounted admission. The child or young person does not need to have a formal diagnosis to join the database.
