Walking

How to walk safely

Walking is good for your health, if you do it safely:

1. Only cross roads when you can see clearly in all directions.
2. Where there is a crossing nearby, use it.
3. Try to walk where there are lots of other people.
4. Avoid empty passageways where nobody will see you if you get into trouble.
5. If walking in the dark, wear light or reflective clothing.
6. It is good to tell a friend where you are going in case you have an accident so people can find you.
