How to cycle safely

Riding a bicycle is good for your health, if you do it safely:

1. You can learn to ride a bicycle safely at the Wycombe District Athletics Complex.

Contact: www.wheelsforall.org.uk/locations/marlow-wheels-for-all.

2. You can find out information about off-road cycling routes at the library or www.sustrans.org.uk.
3. It is good to tell a friend where you are going in case you have an accident so people can find you.
4. When you are riding your bike, always wear a helmet.
5. Tighten the helmet strap until it is tight on your head.
6. If leaving your bike, be sure to lock it up so it’s there when you return.
