How to travel by bus

1. Find out what bus you need to catch:

A full list of Buckinghamshire bus companies can be found here.

2. Take a mobile phone with you in case of any problems.
3. Show the driver your bus pass if you have one.

Also show him or her your Sunflower Lanyard or Autism Alert Card or Arriva Journey Assistance Card if you have any of those.

4. If you are not sure where you need to get off the bus, ask the driver to remind you just before you get there.

Bus passes

  • You can have a bus pass if you have a learning disability
  • Find out how to apply for one by clicking on this link: Apply for a disabled persons bus pass
  • Your bus pass can be used in Buckinghamshire from 9am to 11:59pm, Monday to Friday
  • If your driver won’t let you use your pass before 9.30am show him the back of your pass to prove that you can
  • Outside Buckinghamshire you can use it:
    • from 9:30am to 11.00pm, Monday to Friday
    • all day at weekends and bank holidays
